Can the TPMS (20 degree angle) from the factory 16" Tacoma wheels be used in the 17" 4Runner wheel (42611-35520) with 20 degree angle) or will I have to use the 4Runner wheel TPMS (42607-33021)? If I do use the 4Runner wheel TPMS will my Tacoma control unit read the 4Runners TPMS? I called the Toyota Parts Dept and they were not very much help on this subject.

If they are 16” alloy wheels it should work. I swapped mine from OEM 16” alloys to OEM 17” alloys without issue. If you have OEM steel wheels I believe they need to be replaced.
