Looking at doing a trip with the GF to the Oregon Border. Want to keep any serious crawling to a minimum (Solo trip)

Any recommendations for places to drive through / stop for the night?

Trip length is probably a week

I'm in Ferndale, which is just west of US 101 about 15 miles south of Eureka. If you need anything in this area, including a place to crash, hit me up.

If no off-road, are you wanting to stick to pavement, do FS roads, or what? I have some decent FS loops I'm happy to share, or run with you depending on when you come and what you want to do.

Winter is starting up here and the rain is beginning on the coast. Not a whole lot of clear days left, and snow will be on the inland and coastal mountains before too long. Not sure when you are planning on coming up... but I'd make it soon!

Also this thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/forest-roads-routes-lakes-camping-off-roading.478320/ has some good spots / routes. You have to sift through it but if you research just that thread you can build a route on gravel all the way up here!
