    I wasn't happy when they told me I had to send it back and then wait for them to work on it, its definitely one of the downfalls of putting them on your DD. I heard great things about the Icons as well, and they really do shine off road when you push them. That being said, since they only lasted me 8000 miles before they started leaking, or I noticed they started leaking, I don't think I'll go through them again. I'm looking at getting the OME BP-51s when it's time to change the shocks/tires on my new truck.

    I bought aftermarket Bilsteins for the rear of my truck and both were leaking within 10000.

    Yeah, two weeks (minimum) of downtime for them to fix & send back the shock is a huge pain. They do sell rebuild kits, oil, etc., so as soon as my warranty period is over (late summer), I'll be learning how to rebuild these myself and stocking up on supplies. It's not rocket science, I'll figure it out and handle my own service going forward.

    Realistically, all shocks can and do leak. It's a game of numbers - sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you get ICONs.

    In hindsight, I would/should have gone with cheaper shocks that I can simply replace when they have an issue, rust, corrode, etc.

    Either that or hope that I can postpone any shock rebuilding until the summer, when I can ride the motorcycle everywhere while the truck is down.

    @smitty99

    I have the same, I felt my damping was gone and I only have 10,000 miles on the clock.

    May I ask if the dealer would honor the warranty on them?

    Smitty is banned so he won't be responding any time soon. IIRC they did warranty them though.

    I figured that's what the line through the name was.
