New to lifts, help me out? Explain like I'm 5?

My dakars don't squeak after 2yrs. My front end on the other hand, it's a noisy mofo no matter how much I grease or lube them.

@Wyckedan give mule expedition outfitters in Issaquah a call and see what kinda price they quote you. They're local and can provide you with various options for your application and install too if you're not that mechanically inclined or unfamiliar with Tacoma's.

Welcome to TW Bilstein, OME, Fox, ADS, Icon, and King all make quality 2" lift kits for your truck. It just depends on your budget. I personally recommend Kings or Foxes but I'm biased

Pressure wash and put grease on. Not driving a Tacoma because of squeaky leaf springs.. Probably better off selling it then.

 

Tried worthless. Drive it to wheeling. Then only when it rains. No squeaks then.

 

Ive got a 4" spindle lift from @Maxtrac which I love. Still running oem rims with 285/70/17. Truck runs and looks awesome also still rides like stock!!! All done for right about 700 bucks

Nope, no one gets paid for their recommendations. 100% organic. We have just done what we can for forum in terms of customer service and competitive pricing and members share their experience with others. The Dakars have been redesigned, and should no longer have the squeaking issues. The old leaf pack had one leaf that didn't have liners causing the squeak. It's a $12 part to take care of the issue.
