The same shit everyone else has.

It is free as long as you have access to a computer and usb drive and a few minutes of time.

So I went to the site mschultz posted...thanks for that, by the way!

Of course mine (a 2015 Entune Plus with no nav) has an update listed, but only available through the dealer - not on the site for download to a USB flash drive. It does list a TSB to reference.

My head unit has frozen only twice, once about 6 mths ago, and once a month ago. Both times it ‘froze’, it went quiet, screen and buttons inop, did nothing for 30 secs, then rebooted, and then was fine. I have an old iPod Nano plugged into the USB port, and I use the Bluetooth from my iPhone 6 for calls, and that’s it. Don’t use any of the Entune apps or anything else.

So what does the hive mind think? Worth the hassle of the dealer or not? I’m under warranty until next March, have 25k miles. Part of me says to ignore it, 2x in 2.5 years ain’t bad; but some of your stories have me thinking this might get worse.

My local dealer actually isn’t too bad, they do good work, save for their relentless pushing of ‘induction cleaning;’ but they are still a pain to get to from 9-5.

The dealership fixed mine with an update. Works great now.

Mine did the same (2015 w/Nav as well) - dealer flashed the update, no issues since.

Good to know. My '14 doesn't freeze, but occasionally will just turn itself off/on while making a weird electronic noise. Then works fine. Maybe I need to look into an update as well.

When I took my 14 in they said I was way overdue for an update and I was up to date on the app updates.

There should be an update for this

While the Entune radios do indeed suck our phones are soo much better then the software can handle and they update them more frequently then Panasonic/Fujitsu does
