Placed Huskey Liner Xacts in the truck just in time for upcoming winter and snow. Should have done this long time ago. Such a great fit and look. They’re perfect for camping/off roading too!

My front tires were a bit close to the UCAs after the lift so I ordered some Spidertrax 1.25 inch wheel spacers. It's looking a lot better now but I did notice a slight tire rub when I was backing down my driveway

Changed out the spark plugs, cleaned the MAF, lubed the drive shaft, fixed a loose heat shield, vacuumed, and installed fabric sun visors to replace the crappy vinyl ones. Looking at the plugs I pulled out they were the half NGK half Denso variety like you see from the factory and they were pretty dark. I am curious if the previous owner had never changed them and at 180,000 miles they were still originals?

I decided to install a dash cam today. Came out perfect. I wired it up to the ignition so it comes on and goes off with the truck. Waiting on the correct size RAM mount and I will put in on Bird Dawg's mirror riser. Also figured out how I'm going to wire in under hood LEDs. Install is something for tomorrow. Damn day light savings! Its dark at 5pm! BS if you ask me.

    Cheers

Venture dash cam with the upgraded wiring kit. It took about 15 minutes to install. I had the add-a-fuse already and plugged into the ignition fuse on the fuse box behind the coin tray using a 5 amp fuse. Great cam. 2 cameras, one forward facing and the other rear facing. Very good day and night quality. It also works with a Mac computer. it turned out to be more difficult to find one that would work with a Mac. Hit me up if you have questions. Links for the camera and wiring kit are below.

So I'm working on a little project and maybe someone can answer a question I have. You may have seen the hidden garage door opener mod? Pretty much wire a switch to a garage door opener and hide the opener and mount the switch. Well we recently got an electric gate at work with an opener. I want one switch to open my home garage door and work gate. Should I keep the fire extinguisher handy with it this way? Both openers use watch batteries.
