Club Prez called this morning @ 7AM. He asked what time Asshat gets here and what time he could get in business office. Also asked what time our receptionist gets here. Then he instructed me to have 2 or 3 pieces of our stationary (with official letterhead) handy before Asshat would be here. Then he said it would probably be best to have someone NOT on the staff "type an important letter". A few minutes later, the club's attorney's Paralegal shows up to get the letterhead. Asshat shows up about an hour later, carrying 3 empty boxes. He went into his office and locked the door behind him.

Word is, Asshat will be terminated today or tomorrow, then escorted off the property and not allowed back in.

I have 2 cases of champagne and a 2 liter of my favorite bourbon on will call at a vendor we buy from. We're about to have a party!

Also, I've told everyone about my employee who passed away back in March. Also, about my deal with cancer. We found out a couple weeks ago that our previous manager (who we adored) has stage 4 pancreatic cancer. This morning I get word that a long time employee who Asshat didn't like, and made me lay him off, is in the hospital with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

There has been a black cloud hanging over us since Asshat got here. I'm hoping the sun is about to pop out from behind the cloud....

Sounds like asshat is pure cancer, I’m sure everyone’s health will improve once he’s gone.

 

So we just had a big IT Quarterly meeting and one of the female presenters for a topic on mobile strategy was nippin' big time!

I'm guessing 400 in attendance in person and another couple hundred via various web/remote connections.

I was like - Turkey's Done!!
