Aw fuck yeah. ORAC6M/T FTW! :canada:
I love it too, except for the numb throttle response/delay on my '16 ... but that's what OV tune is for :burnrubber:

You would have to replace the entire wire harness. I tried to get the access cab OR truck without push button start (I hate it) in the taco I had. The manual tranny wasn’t an option. They pulled a schematic of the wires for ignition and what a nice mess it was. Also would cost at least $1100 to have done......plus chasing electrical gremlins forever wouldn’t be worth it either. So, you could change out the ignition, but might be more $$ and aggravation than it is worth.

I've had 3 manuals and 1 auto. My old Ford trucks were pretty lame in traffic.

This Tacoma really isn't bad. First gear crawls along pretty good, but the RPM range on this engine seems broad enough that you can leave in first a lot. I just give enough space so I'm not clutching with every slow down. An auto is always going to be easier in traffic, but the day I choose my transmission purely for my stop and go traffic experience is the day I buff my resume to move somewhere else.

I know how to drive one. But that’s also probably because I live on a farm in a rural county. However, id say at least 90% of the people in my school don’t know how.
