I don't sit at desks , I'm an outdoors person that's what I kept telling the doctors and WC people and they don't understand !!

I would go crazy if I had to sit at a desk answering phones and working with a computer

At this point I can just see where it takes me. The Doctor basically said he didn't think it would last if I did.

 

I just got the mass of med records from UVA a while ago. I need to get thm from my old doctor and I'll have them all then I can make an appt

 

That's unfortunate man. Damn!

 

I'll also be calling to make an appt with a WC attny tomorrow

 

Well I haven't got to that point yet. At least from what I understand they will have to insure my pay is kept at the current level even if ins. has to compensate

 

I'd take that with Gov bennies

We did the same thing last year. I left my trade of 32 years and work from home now.

 

Well I'm certainly glad that worked out for you hopefully I can be half that lucky. It is a little scary thinking about starting something else after so long

Sounds like you are the right person for the dog. And the poll is never wrong...mostly.

Why would this bother you? You now know what your shoulder is capable of and you know what you need to do to stay healthy for the long run. The job is only for pay, take what they give you and make the most of it. Be happy that it is just a shoulder, there are a lot worse things.

You sir are correct. Having to start over or just do something else doesn't bother me really. You know as well as I do I'm damn sure not in love with this job. It's just been drug out now for almost 2 years and I think you know how much it's just worn me out. The only part that really bothers me, as trivial to many people as it may be, is the thought of not shooting a bow anymore. It's a small price to pay but has been a large part of my life for 30 years.

I think you could probably start a business except the web part would screw you up. You can't even seem to figure out how to change your sig pic to the truck you currently own.
