Too poor to list anything interesting.
I wash mine every 2-4 weeks, depending on the weather and any planned trips coming up.

That's not really an excuse to purposefully blow through your paint. You shouldn't need to polish that often. If you do you either A. Are actually causing marring while polishing or B. Your wash methods are so horrible it's scratching the crap out of the paint.

You don't need to polish for the truck to look nice. Get yourself a high quality sealer and stick to paint correction once a year. Hell of a lot less work on your part.

When you eventually blow through your clear coat, truck ain't going to look so hot anymore. But I guess you are taking the attitude that it's "the next owners problem".

I have the unlimited wash as well, my 2 year old loves going thru the wash. So I'm there at least twice a week.

I usually wash the exterior once every couple weeks and the interior and wax once a month.

The truck goes offroad a lot, so it would be a massive waste to wash it super frequently. Plus I think a muddy truck looks badass.

I will say that you have a little OCD with washing your truck but that is fine. My question is how often are you putting paint protection on your car?

I hope often as you are putting whatever coating, sealant, and or wax through a work out.

I used to wash it every Sunday....then that turned into every other sunday....now with winter i just wait for rain. Once spring rolls around she'll get the lovin she deserves. I do love a shiny black truck

Yeah I think I'm just going to use the self serve hand bay at the local car wash instead of freezing my hands off like I have in past winters. No hand wash/dry till spring... going to have to get used to seeing the grayish tint on my black paint. And water spots.

Yea the water spots are painful but the mothers quick wash/wax stuff is decent so every so often ill just spray that on and wipe and its good enough to get me through until the weather warms up

My 97 Taco has been washed maybe 10-20 times in 20 years. It's a truck, not my baby.

It doesn't even have a name, let alone a girl's name. It's always been referred to as the Toyota when we have to decide which vehicle we are taking somewhere that day.

Now that we have three Toyotas and one Ford, we might have to be more specific. Two white Toyota trucks, a blue Toyota Corolla, and blue Ford truck.

But this whole washing, waxing and detailing isn't in my blood. I live in Oregon, it gets washed everyday from mid September till mid June naturally. No need to wash during the dry summer months.

I can't remember the last time I washed and waxed my truck, but as a used truck buyer I'm grateful there are people like you out there.
