My idle has been high, around 1250 - 1500. Then when warm would drop down to about 1000. The vehicle seemed to run fine otherwise.

While looking at the engine to replace some vacuum hoses I realized that two hoses were hooked up incorrectly.

There is a hose that comes from the intake plenum and goes to the PCV valve.
There is a hose that comes from a metal assembly under the plenum and goes to the air intake resonator.

My PO had reversed these and I had a high idle. I corrected the connections and I'm idling about 500 - 750 now. Sounds much better too.

This picture (not my engine) shows the correct routing. Mine was connected incorrectly from A2 to B1 and A1 to B2. Again the engine seemed to run fine except for a high idle.

I dont understand why peeps dont take out their smart phone and take a pictures of stuff before they work on it... much quicker than writting it down or drawing a picture.

So hopefully you won't make any mistakes. On anything.

'Cause then you'll get to be called stupid by whoever fixes it for you.

Can always just pull and replace one at a time. No pictures needed.
