And if you get a Cummins with a manual you lose almost 1/3 of your torque vs the automatic. It's detuned to 660 for the six speed vs 900 for the automatic.

Lame. You lose the exhaust brake as well, not that you would need it with the manual.

Shows you how much faith they have in their transmission. It's not just detuned for the manual, it's detuned for Dodge's auto also. The only way you can get the full 900 ft lbs is in the 3500 and if you get the Aisin transmission option for another couple grand. They won't put the full torque in front of either of their transmissions.
I'm fairly certain you keep the exhaust brake, you lose the high idle function though. I may or may not have been researching them :anonymous: One of the videos I watched showed the exhaust brake on the stick shift.

Shocking that they still cannot put together a good auto for their trucks since they have been known for transmission issues since the mid/late 90s with the second gen Cummins, along with other issues as well

True, but they at least got with Aisin to remedy one of their short comings. Of course, with the diesel and the upgraded tranny, you'll have almost $12k over the base cost of the truck added on...

I was on vacation this week and I have been out every day. Nothing hanging , but lots of action.
I've seen lots of deer all week (except today, nothing was moving) including 3 rack bucks.
Nothing inside my magic circle and it sucked that these bucks were 25-30 yards too far, although i enjoy watching them too.
A doe and 2 very small skippers were inside the circle and got a pass. Not my thing you know.

BTW, bucks all had their nose to the ground and were on a mission.

Good morning for it, keeps the fair weather 'hunters' out of the woods. I liked hunting on cold and rainy days because I know there will far fewer hunters in the woods.

I found a set of cool T-Shirts on BlipShift featuring stock wheels for Japanese / American / European cars. I've been working through them and I think I've got everything but a pair of the JDM wheels. Here's my thoughts below, see if you agree / disagree.
