Ugly or not, look at that airflow capacity, or dead bug compartment. Depends on where you live :D

Guys on a budget who are more serious about the truck’s capabilities, and actual performance, as opposed to posing .......mostly. But I wouldn’t knock guys who throw down big bucks for looks and get the pro grille right away. That’s fine. The Pro Grille is just fake tits......some girls just need ‘em to feel good about themselves and fit it.

A 3” lift would be a fake set of titties. A grille mod is more akin to an otherwise smoking hot chick who was born with a haggard nose who replaced it with a new one. Or a fix for a suspect looking nipple.

I don't know why Toyota (and Lexus) love the giant wide open grill look. The 2018 grill is a small improvement, but the whale mouth they put on these trucks is ugly.

Looks better than what it has now, doesn't stick out like the Pro so that is a plus too.

I know tons of guys that I go off roading with that are “serious” about there trucks capabilities and they have change there stock grilles out because there ugly. And so everyone on this forum that has a TRD Pro grille or a different grille than a stock grille is “posing” hahaha and the stock suspension on the tacomas is just fine for off roading and what not. And for most people on a “budget” would rather spend 300$ on a new grille to make there truck better looking at the time then trying for 3 months to save up $3k+ on a new lift and suspension.

I don't see what's wrong with trying to improve your trucks looks. Its generally cheaper the performance mods. Unless you're lifting for looks. Can be fun and make the truck your own. I always debadge and desticker for a cleaner look.

You might want to look up budget in the dictionary. Might help you understand what I’m saying. No offence.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!

I see a chain link fence -- maybe Toyota bought out a fence co., then decided they had excess inventory -- then said lets chrome plate that stuff and slap it on the 18 Tacomas!
