^ Can that one be removed easily for when you have to haul stuff like a refrigerator?

Too many but also not enough mods
Im looking for a hard folding cover that uses factory rails and folds to the window. I have the Extang Solid Fold 2.0 last third of it doesn't fold which is annoying when I need to haul large items. I screwed up thinking it folded when I bought it.

It comes in 3 pieces and they can be removed by one person. You can still carry large items and serious weight. This guys video is pretty good.

That is pretty awesome. I like how you can carry heavy stuff on top of it and remove it without to much hassle.

Free's good right? Come get it and you can have my Leer 700 although I think it will need a repaint at this point since it's been sitting in my folk's back yard for a couple of years.

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing this. I would Contact TruXedo directly and speak with Kris. She is very helpful and always try to help customers out. The Lo Pro typically comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty (If you purchase from an Authorized Dealer). If you didn't, then it would probably be something you would have to work out with store you purchased from.

Bak Industries has patents on many of the Hard folding covers. As Tacotacoma97 mentioned, they are great quality. They don't require any drilling to the bed and can fold up against the rear window and secure in place with the prop rods. If you live in a state that experiences Extreme heat and sunlight, the G2 and MX4 would be a better option (the aluminum models). If you're in a state that experiences Hail, then the Fibermax and F1 would be the ones to consider.

Just a good ol soft roll up will be all you need. Don’t let the industry marketing fool you, no tonneau cover is completely water tight or theft proof.

Agree with Iamraiderpower ^. Soft roll ups don't have any hinges or crevices exposed so they are typically more water resistant, not to mention will save you hundreds as opposed to hard folding, retractable, ecr.

Yup. I couldn't justify the price. I bought a Lund Genesis with the press and seal sides. I messed with snaps and velcro on friend's trucks in the past and didn't want those.

My only complaint is that it was suppose to have some kind of rotating latch in the back. Instead, it just a fourth rail. I need to call about that.

Seal holding up nice? I’m thinking of one for my tundra. I hate the Velcro and snap ones.

I just got it on Monday, so nothing on longevity yet. I can see it holdup better than velcro. It also has limited lifetime warranty, so that should cover any trouble with it.

It takes more effort to fasten than velcro but way easier than snaps. It's a good middle ground for me.

Yea I feel like I would feel the same way. Seems to me it would work better at sealing the outside elements better than Velcro that’s going to go to crap after moderate usage

With the double seal lip on all sides and the tension in the cover, no water will get in between the rails and cover. Also, here in WA state, no mildew or algae to grown in the velcro.

The bottom of the front, left, and right rails have non-sticky foam tape, so it seals to the odd pattern on the 3rd Gen bed rails. There is a small gap in the front corners due to the raised front bed rail. That could be solved with some additional weather stripping if needed.

The rear rail has a big lip seal on the bottom.

We have had rain all week. No major leaks, but I have not climbed in to the front to check for any small stuff. I did have groceries bungeed between the side rails and tailgate. They were dry.

Very nice. I keep a contigo tough box at rear of bed I just pop groceries etc into. But will want bed as dry as possible for luggage on road trips and I feel the seal style will do it best. Thanks for your input.

    No problem.

Feel free to ping me if you want more info, pics, or me to get up front for a better leak check.

I’m hoping with way the tundras bed is shaped I should be good for leak protection. I’ll be leaving the cover rolled up unless in use anyhow. It has helped roll up covers last longer for me in the past
