So I've never been a fan of wider tires. I was originally looking at either 235/85 or 265/75 but happened to stumble upon some 275/70 bfg ko2s.
I'm not the biggest bfg fan and don't really want a 275 tire, but the kicker is I can get them for $103 a piece. What do y'all think?
Based off what I've read it should fit. Does anyone have a picture of 275/70s mounted up on their taco?

A good deal on something you don’t want, is not a good deal.

275s are heavy. 275/70R17 E-load KO2s weigh 55lbs. Comparatively similarly sized but narrower 255/75R17s in C-load weigh 45lbs. Much lighter which will provide better power, mpgs, braking and ride. Not to mention less likely to rub. 265/70/R17s in C-load are also 45lbs.

    Stay with your original idea.

Just keep your stock wheels and tires.

It's an 08 so the stock tires are long gone. I just got the truck a month ago and whomever had it beforehand had 245/75 Firestone snow tires on it. They're wearing out quick and got to go!

I think ill pass on the 275s then. Thanks for helping solidify the decision
