I thought I would share my experience with my icon stick on UCA caps. I've been running the icon tube UCAs for almost 6 years. I got the caps as soon as they were available. My OCD kicks in and I have to pop them off to take a look about every 6 months. After doing this numerous times and paying $12 for the stupid 3m stickers they make and having to clean up the huge mess they leave behind, I thought there has to be a better way. So I picked up some 2way HD gorilla grip tape at the Home Depot. This stuff works great and is about $5-6 a roll.
I did a 6 week test to see the results. What I found was, gorilla tape is wayyyy stronger than the icon shit ( a lot of guys loose their caps off road ). It's a lot tougher to remove. It leaves no tape residue behind and peels off perfectly clean. Also it did rain during that time but I took the truck to the pressure washer and blasted the UCAs. I found no sign of condensation. Now I live in SoCal and my truck is garage kept so I'm not sure about the colder climates. Pretty sure this method would work on any stick on cap. It took me about 15 mins to cut the strips. You can get creative and cut strips better than I did but I'm satisfied with my results. Hope this helps you guys with the stick ons!

Very nice. Modern adhesives are here to stay in the automotive world.

Also if anyone local in SoCal needs to change their uniballs out, I got the tool to remove replace on the truck. It will work on all 1" uniballls. Let me know if you need to borrow it.

I looked into the delta joint but by the time you buy the joints, removal tool, and special spacer tool to press in the deltas, you're better off selling existing arms and buying new ones with the joint already pressed in. So I just replaced the unis. I got good life out of the 1st set so I passed on the deltas. They do look nice and I'm sure work well.
