Mine's been a nickname ~20 years, so I adjusted the spelling and started using it as a handle back then.

I didn't have my Taco when I joined, so I used what I use in other places. Figata means Awesome or Cool in Italian. With the "Che" in front, it means really awesome or really cool. The reason Figatta is spelled with 2 T's, correct spelling is one T, is that is what my plate is on my motorcycle. The correct spelling was already taken. I know, really long explanation.

I was really obsessed with BART, yes - that BART, as a kid. Never ended up finding a new username.

Not Bart Simpson, Bay Area Rapid Transit.

Sprig is a waterfowl hunters term for a pintail duck. Pintails look like F18 hornet fighter jets when they fly. My hunting Labrador retriever is named Sprig and my avatar is a picture of him. I thought the handle Sprig was unusual and appropriate.

Lot of updates to catch up on! Thanks for the explanations NorCal. Too tedious to update the list on my phone. I’ll do it tomorrow on my laptop.
