Came back after I parked to see that my truck found a friend! A fellow taliban tan 4Runner. Anyone know who that was?

Also after counting like 12 prinsu racks out there i finally pulled the trigger and got one... RIP my wallet. Anyone got any tips for installation? Take your time because I've got like 6 weeks until it gets here, supposedly... :bananadead:

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
    Pro tips:
    Be patient
Clean it, prime it, paint it, let cure for a few days
Use pipe dope on the hardware to create a water tight seal
don't over tighten mounting hardware, 15ft#'s is probably plenty
use anti seize on rack hardware, and again, don't over tighten
before tightening anything, have rack completely assembled on the roof, with all hardware just loose enough to where if something is off it's easily tweaked to get it right, then tighten mounting hardware first, then rack hardware.

To cut the weatherstripling for the feet get a set of punches. Don’t bother with a drill.

Amazon has a set for $13ish.

Man, sounds like an awesome turnout today with some new faces.

Count me in... As long as it's not a duty weekend for the Mrs

When you drill the holes in the weatherstrips, make sure you use clamps to secure them to a work bench. As soon as the bit bites the rubber will want to twist with it and you'll end up with a sloppy hole at best and a torn and unusable weatherstrip at worst

Whoops, didn't even know that was a thing... Will have to go out and get a decent shot of it at some point. For now, I guess this will suffice:
