Spun the tires a bit down in schertz Texas today!! Wasn't anything too big, just a good ol mud hole, never really needed the 4x4IMG_0526.jpgIMG_0529.jpgIMG_0530.jpg

Where is this in Schertz? I'm in Cibolo. I'd love to get muddy :)

It's off of 3009 and green valley road. If you're coming down from 35, turn left onto green valley road from 3009. About 1/4 mile down green valley there is a small trail on the left. Not a huge spot, but great to spin the tires for a minute!!

Where in cibolo are you btw, my wife and I work at the wine bar in downtown cibolo, and we frequent old main.

Nice, Wife and I have been meaning to check that place out. I haven't been to Old Main since the summer, but since the weather has gotten better, we may have to swing by again. I live by Steele.

Well if you or your wife like good wine, and craft beer, you ought to check out 1908 house of wine and ale!! We're a little pricier than old main, but the quality we offer is far superior lol.

On a separate note, have you seen any of the spots in the cibolo creek? There are tons of trails down there, rocks, mud, and even some caves to chill in!!

I'm a huge Crafty, but she barely drinks so it'd be more for me. I haven't seen any of the trails back there. I usually take Schaefer to get to 1518 to head to work. On Google Maps, it looks like they're back their by Crescent Bend park?

I'm not familiar with any out there, but on 1518 by schertz park is where I've always gone. You can get to the trails from 35 under the bridge where 1518 runs under the highway.

Give me a holler if you ever wanna swing by 1908, I'm usually always there, or working on the restaurant we're building next door!!

I've had it a couple times, they typically sell it at Specs. Never had it on tap though. Do y'all do growler fills there?

He does some crazy brews but according my to Untappd, looks like I've only tried the Sleepy Hollow. If you're on there, my username is the same.

I've really been into Stouts lately and his site shows two that I really want to try.

His bourbon barrel fracking blackstrap is hands down my favorite beer!! The sleepy hollow is one of my wife's favs. Honestly though, I've never had a beer from him I didn't love.
