Canopy, fitted seat covers, OBA with self leveling air bags, 100w solar, dual Rhino Rack Pioneer platforms, side & rear LED work/FU lights, CB, cell booster. 7x16 cargo conversion, 3" lift, 7'x6.5' fold down aluminum rear deck.
Wood matched to the fiberglass cap. This will make it so there is a smooth transition when we fiberglass the entire bathroom.

Back to the car a bit. Modified the hitch to fit. Will get welded together after I get the car back to ride height so I can level the hitch.

Major progress on the car is halted for a month or so. Waterpump on the truck started leaking today. So, time for wp and pulley replacement plus coolant flush at 142k.
But, I did get the initial shape of the floor pans cut out today in 16ga. I should have enough materials left to do the toe boards, but the tranny and driveshaft tunnels have to wait unless I can find some cheap/free 20ga sheet.

Na. Plenty of wp replacement threads. I'll just keep this mostly non-taco stuff.

Yeah. Once its all together, itll come apart and then start getting fiberglassed. I wish I had access to a shredder sprayer. It would make it much easier and make the fiberglass much cleaner.
Once the bathroom is done, work will begin on the kitchen.

Used the break in the rain today to weld a patch on the rocker panel that was rotted out. Also welded the outriggers to the rockers that the floor skeleton will be welded to. Tomorrow, Ill work on getting the toe boards and tranny tunnel mocked up.

Had mine stock (ish) for a while. It was a show car in the 80s-90s, but they went cheap on body work/paint/interior. When I went to UTI, it won a Bucket of Bolts Runner Up trophy at one of their car shows when I parked it outside to work on my friends transfer case during the open shop weekend (I lived just down the road from the school). Unfortunately, the engine failed. Figured if I was going to rebuild, Id rebuild big.
Used the break in the weather and down time from the Airstream to finish the toe boards. Think I will go get the 20ga sheet (theyll only sell me a 4x10 sheet) tomorrow to transfer the driveshaft tunnel template and start doing the tranny tunnel.

Transferred the first template to heavier material and finalized the shape.
Ill go pick up a sheet of 20ga steel on tuesday.

    Trans template transferred to 20ga.

Gauges are by dolphin. I took a piece of plexi and mounted it to the original surround. Then figured out where I wanted them and taped the circles then painted it on the back side. Then I cut the faces off the gauges and epoxied them to the plexi. I tried to find someone that would mill out a new bezel in aluminum with a face and mounts that would get rid of the plexi, but the only place that was willing to do it wanted $5k+ for one piece.

Driveshaft tunnel transferred to steel. Had to make it in 3 sections to be able to bend it. The bottom edge is bent inwards then down the inside of the rails to lock them in place. Itll eventually get welded on, but for now the spring force is holding it well.
