no my wife shot it. I did the dirty work of quartering and dragging it up the hill with the help of a couple friends.

I was going to do some of these tonight (we were going to have some people over and do an appetizer dinner) but my wife and daughter both have a stomach bug. So that's killed all my food plans for the weekend.

Ya they look and sound really good. Oh well we will do them next weekend I guess. Going to do those, sausage balls, buffalo chicken dip, chili cheese dip, pigs in a blanket, pot stickers and the rotel tomato and velveta chesse dip. Should be a great heartburn night. :)

Well we finally did our appetizer dinner with some people this past Friday, one of the things we did were these meatballs. Changed up a couple little things like used dill relish instead of sweet (wife doesn't like sweet) and used a little more ground beef. Didn't get to put them on the smoker but even without that they were excellent. Sent the recipe to a friend he is always looking fo new things to try when he has to cook at the fire station.

This is a lazy man's way to make bread. The bread machine does all the work.

    1 cup milk
    1 large egg
    2 1/2 TBS butter
    1/4 cup sugar
    3/4 tsp salt
    3 cups bread flour
    2 1/2 tsp yeast

Put ingredients in bread machine, run on dough cycle.
Spray a pie plate with Pam.
Dump dough into pie plate and spray with Pam.
Let rise until pie plate is full.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

*Note: May require a little more, or less, flour.
