No weather stripping needed for that part. Make use to coat all drill hole edges with a zinc paint or something to keep rusting away. We did use Mastic to seal the tube connections and my hands hurt for a week working that stuff into place but I know I have a great seal. I would not drill the A-piller if it was me, we used Industrial Velco instead. Nothing worst then having a leaky piller.

I have a spare axle I need to replace a boot on. Would be nice to have an experienced hand to make sure I don't fudge it up. I'm guessing the dealer is the best/only place to get those boots?

@4x4runner2002 helped me do mine on my 4Runner and we just did them on my dads Volvo this weekend
Don’t think any local dealers keep them in stock. PM the camelback rep on here, he usually beats anyone else’s price

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Might need that help. These are cvj rebuilds with the "high angle" boots but they suck. No warranty on them.
Seat swap went great. Not done with passenger yet. Not decided if I want more structure support.
Cvj but they are pricy if you get the OEM option.

Rebuilding ie rebooting Toyota axles are pretty easy now that i have done like 7. 1 am willing to help anyone that needs it. It’s a bit messy but there are a few ways to keep it clean if not in a major rush.

Pair of pliars on that round piece close to the spindle and unscrew or a thin headed cresent wrench on the piece between the round part and bushing. Gosh that sounds really uneducated. haha

Okay, heading down tomorrow for the holidays with the family. I want to swing by the 4 Wheel Parts on the Boulevard. Anyone been there that thinks it is or is NOT worth going there? Not really looking for anything specific, but at least want to go look!

It’s not bad. Your typical chained Offroad shop. If you do go, ask for a guy named Chris. He’s a Toyota guy and super nice/helpful.

I went there once just because. It is nice to see different suspension components up close to really understand the difference. I had no idea 6112’s were that beefy. I don’t really don't see a reason to go back for anything though.
