He has lost his house, the garage is all that he has left for privacy.

If married men (especially with kids) had money, we would be knocking out killer projects every month with all the time we spend in the garage.

Pfffft. He has no privacy. I now know the comfort of the buggy seats. Might start taking my laptop out to the shop so I can work while he works. ;)

Not yet. But I did have a phone screening 30 minutes ago.

"Working" meaning paying bills, looking for a job, etc.

Yep. Every day. I have a new found respect for housewives and stay at home mom and dads. Cooking, cleaning, being home, so boring...

You are in the Southwest now, I hope you are expanding you sammich skills to local cuisine.... Tortas, enchiladas, tacos.

When you can make tamales, you are considered a master sammich maker by the locals.

If you want to really appreciate stay at home mom and dads, I can loan you a little 3ft monster that will go behind you and destroy whatever you just cleaned. She will do it with such a smile that you almost can't be mad at her.

We do tacos every week, including fresh(but frozen) FL shrimp, so delicious. My teeth have sensitivity issues every now and then, so I cant make tostadas yet. Asian and southern foods are most common here. Ive never made a tamale. Seems like that takes too much effort.

Kids are cool. I like them, I just never want any. I like the ability to give kids back to their makers.

Tortas are just mexican sandwiches... think sloppy joes with a different type of bun.

Tamales are a lot of work, but if you have a large tamale party once a year and make enough to last the whole year, they are worth it. You will see more and more tamales this time of year, as it is a tradition to eat tamales on Christmas Eve so that you wont go hungry in the up coming year. Much like eating ham steak, cornbread, greens, and black-eyed peas on New Year's Day.

Love this time of year cause we are coming off Hatch Chile season and they end up in Tamales.

    Even dessert Tamales are delicious.
