First things first, Vehicle specs: 2004 Tacoma 3.4 5 speed TRD Off Road

Noticed on some days that I'd get a slight clutch squeak from outside the cab. I have done all the bushings inside on the bracket and spring when i first got the truck. Took another peak since I've heard its a common issue and didn't know how long the bushings last. All good under the dash. Did some internet research and figured id spray some white lithium inside the bellhousing to try and hit where the fork and throw out ride. No change. So i did what all men hate to do. I asked a co worker to listen while i played with my clutch. He popped off the boot on the slave cylinder and sprayed some white lithium on the slave cylinder seal. Squeak is all gone and the pedal actually feels smoother. Figured id try to document this on TW for anyone else having a clutch squeak that isn't the bracket, spring, or inside the bellhousing.

I am sure you are glad that your coworker found a viable remedy.
