    Hate to tell you, but someone has to pay taxes. You're making over $200K (with your wife) it sounds like. You're surpised? You realize your tax bracket is something close to 40% right?

    Yeah, drop the $500 and pay the accountant. As long as s/he finds more than $501 in stuff you missed, then you're doing good.

    And maybe next time, consult someone before you fiddle with your IRA or other retirement funds. You should know they're taxed heavily.

    I already did my Federal taxes and I just finished up my state and mailed it off...Thank god I didn't owe anything...for once I actually got a nice chunk of change back :eek:
