A salute to all the vets! :oldglory:
And here's my salute to some other folks out there who disrespect the flag and what it stands for! :brianr:
Jim would like that one, and probably add about 10 more to it! :D

    Evening all:
Just read an article in USA Today that has me shaking my head!
Seems like the Army is willing to issue wavers to people with a past history of self mutilation, are bipolar, suffer from depression, and have a history of drug and alcohol abuse, if they want to join the Army! o_O
For some reason it just doesn't sound like a good idea to me, but who am I to question why this may not be such a good idea!

    Morning all :hattip:

:facepalm:Next thing you know they will be giving the keys to the nuclear weaponry to the North Koreans :annoyed:. In PA you can NOT purchase or own a firearm if you have any of those issues and here they want to give them one:crazy:.

Hi Susan, sounds like the girls are having fun. Would they know what to do if they caught the possum:confused:. How are you doing?

Amen. Beautiful country. Best part is not much traffic:thumbsup:.

 Ken.... I'm good, how are you? Annie has caught 2 possums before. She catches them and when they play possum, she loses interest and I distract her and take her away and when I go back out, they are gone.

Speaking of that... how's the foot?

I'm doing good Thanks. Trying to stay off the radar screen and staying out of trouble:D. Annie sounds like she has fun catching the possum. My 4 legged Grandson Angus sits by my sons back door wanting to get out when the ground hog is out from under their shed. He's run so fast to catch it a couple of times that he ran right into the shed when he couldn't stop. LOL They are fun to watch. How are the Grand Kiddies doing? Take care and have a good one.

Question is, are you staying out of trouble? She has fun chasing anything that runs. She'd love to get her mouth on the ground hog at the kids' old house. Grand kiddos are doing good. Growing like weeds!!!! You have a good one, too.

    Yesterday was doctor day!

The third toe is healing nicely. The fourth toe not so much. I am wearing an orthopedic shoe now to try and immobilize the fourth toe.

The dermatologist called yesterday to tell me that the sample spot she took from my right side came back negative for cancer. :)

Went to the cardiologist yesterday afternoon for a stress test and there are no changes over two years. A good sign. I need to schedule a CAT Scan today.

Worked with third graders this morning to plant spring flowering bulbs. Always a good day when planting with third graders.

Tomorrow is delivering food drive donations to the local pantry and Saturday is working with the Boy Scouts on an Eagle Scout project.
