What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I usually remove my hitch when not in use. Just being Lazy.
It's been real dark lately ... So I made the hitch more visible .... I hope .



Am I getting that old ... to worry about other people ...

 

I've got permanent scars on both shins from those spawn of Satan hitches.....Put flashing neon on them and rope off a 20' X 20' safe zone around them. Then we'll talk.

Or just not be lazy and remove them when not in use.

 

Or, just not assume I'm lazy, but understand they aren't always on "my truck".

Receiver is behind the license plate on my truck. Hitch doesn't stay there. Only when in use, which is fairly rare these days.

 

Since you insinuated that OP needs to do more with your comment of adding a 20'x20' safe zone, I figured I'd pile on and just call out that if people weren't lazy they would remove them all together when not in use.

Fastest, cheapest annoyance removing mod yet. Unhooking and relocating the “middle passenger” seatbelt in my regular cab, bench seat. A squirrel wouldn’t fit there. Thanks to will.carroll7 for the helpful tips. Small screwdriver and utility knife. 3 minutes.

 

Last night I installed the Pop & Lock power locking tailgate handle. It's my #3 favorite mod following the Tacoma bed mat and all weather floor mats.


Then I added 2 8" LED bars to the bed rack in the rear.



And Finally I installed LED light strips to illuminate my bed.

The hood struts are from Redline Tuning. @mattgecko sells underhood lighting kits.

The scars are a reminder that you should pay attention to the world around you and not rely on others to do it for you.

 

@jeff b hey bud I'm trying to finish these lights up which circuit did you tap in to in the fuse block so they come on with dtrls?
