I'm looking at the LED lighting options offered by A.R.E. and wondering if it's worth the money to have A.R.E. to install LED lights inside the cap from the factory, or is it simple enough for me to find LED lights and wire myself and save a few bucks. Can anyone share pics of their LED light setup inside their cap? And/or provide feedback on what the factory installed A.R.E. LED light option is like?

I'm looking at installing an A.R.E. cap on my 2014 Tacoma TRD short bed.

I did it myself with LED light strips in aluminum channel designed for them. Its a super clean install. Looks for aluminum LED channel on Amazon.
