    I agree. It’s only really running 4.5lbs peak. The issue is not only fuel but keeping the charge air cool. The 1st gen Superchargers don’t have a built in aftercooler like the 2nd gens.

    That is a huge issue, as anything over 5-6 lbs boost will definitely require an aftercooler for sure.

    I don’t know. It runs 4.5psi without any issues. I’m curious on what a 6psi pulley would do

    I'm saying NOT having an aftercooler is a huge issue in itself.

    These air fuel ratio sensors are expensive whether they are Denso or OEM. I fried one of my own once. Took me a while to realize it was damaged because the values looked what I thought was normal.

    I've wondered what difference an intercooler would make for the 3.4L, I don't think I've seen anyone running one with the SC. I'm running 7.5 psi with stock pulley, about to go to a 2.2", no problems with heat soak or anything like that so far.

    Have you checked out your charge temps? It should be a lot hotter. Supposedly a cooler is required for 6 psi and above... now I would suppose that depends the climate where you live also.

    Not sure how I would go about measuring air temp after the SC, as it sits right on top of the intake ports. Suppose I could drill a sensor port into the housing where the short intake runners are. I live in Washington though, it never gets hot enough to make a difference lol

    Another name for a intercooler or heat exchanger lol cools down the air charge after the turbine compressor or supercharger.

    Yep, aftercooler is the correct name for the cooler inside of the supercharger.

    Intercooler became adapted over the years and became the common label on it. Sort of like how # (number) became the word pound, then it became hashtag.
