    Pretty much stock right now
    Nice job. I hadn't thought about the cost of converting vs buying a 4x4, but for the machanicaly inclined, there can be quite the savings.

    Thanks. i have no idea what a mechanic would charge for the work. wouldn't be surprised if its close to a 1k in labor though.

    98 PreRunner conv to 4x4
    F&R suspension, OBA, Custom bed rack, RTT, rear frame plates, 4x4 conversion from prerunner, many other
    IIRC - a TTORA member paid $5K (both parts and labor) to have a shop convert his prerunner to 4WD and that was 8-9 years ago - I think Yotamasters in Corona CA did the work - It is much cheaper to do the wrenching yourself and part out the subwork to specialists as needed. Good Job Junior!

    These days shops (that have previous experience in this), have been quoting 3500-3800$ with parts they provide to convert Prerunner to 4x4. I have contacted a few and got written quotes.
