    Short Bed.

    The only possible problem I see is that the topper hangs over the sides of the bed by about two inches rather than sitting right on top of it.

    You will need to keep in mind that most hard canopys have a lip that hangs over the side a bit, any canopy that does this will interfere with the rack brackets. From your pics you should have no problem clearing a softtopper but will likley be hit and miss with the hard canopy.

    Agreed, the inch or two of overhang with my old glass tonneau cover was the main reason that I could have any bed accessories with it on there. In order to achieve an accessory such as this would likely need a 2-3 inch extension going down from the top of the bed top at a 45-60 degree angle just to not interfere with the overlap. Keep in mind depending on the specs of the cap it could be a very tight threshold of fitment since the cap wasn't designed to have anything in between it to begin with.

    mine is coming around. being fab'd by a welder/fabricator that I found a couple of miles from my house. the rack will be bolted to both the bed channel and the bed where the bed bolts on to the frame, so it supports the bedsides. the tabs are for attaching my RTT and awning. It is going to the powder coater on Monday.

    Made some riser brackets for my 8020 based crossbars so I can pull my table out without removing anything else and still store/mount other stuff above the crossbars. Gotta love that industrial erector set.
