I've got a friend of mine that hauls gas for a living. I hauled propane and butane for a living for about 3 years. They use Butane to add octane. That's how they make premium. Ethanol isn't used to raise octane since ethanol has a lower BTU per gallon. It does just the opposite. All "deathanol" really does is water down the fuel as well as reduce the BTU per gallon so the "eco-terrorists" can "feel good" about not burning "fossil fuels".

Diesel fuel has the highest BTU per gallon but with the ridiculous "emissions" crap it chokes the diesel engine and reduces the mpg WAY down not to mention the reliability issues which are many. The average semi gets towed 80% of the time due to the emissions systems which really do nothing for the environment either.

Oil doesn't come from fossils anyway these days. Oil is "abiotic". The earth creates it and they have no idea how. Oil is a renewable resource. Ethanol does zero for the environment but it made a whole lot of people filthy rich when they first mandated it and I'm sure many are still receiving monthly checks from the "insider traitor" scam. While those in 3rd world countries starved because one of their staples for food is corn.

Gas is gas. The difference is in the add pack each different company adds to the gas with Chevron being the best of the best. One thing is for sure. Deathanol free is better all the way around. It costs me 30 cents more per gallon (the same as 91 octane premium with deathanol) but it's worth it. It should cost 30 cents "less" per gallon but, you know, with government regulations and all. What they don't want you to have always costs more. As an example, that's why you pay a fee at the ATM when you get cash. They can't track the cash but if you use a plastic card they can track that and there is no fee.

Im well aware how it works. Been running it for 15 years to make massive power on the street. I could run an entire tank and only get 150 miles. So worth it.
