Yessir I can't tell Ya how many times I had to take the hard shell off my 1st gen to put in the dirt bike and go ride. The softtopper just straight up kicks ass.

Thanks to everyone for the awesome input. I’m thinking about blacking out the badges and rims for starters. Front bumper is already blacked out. Def looking into getting a new grill. I’ve only seen a couple grills. I want the grill that says Tacoma on it. Haven’t seen one for the 2nd gen

I love my prinsu rack. The install isn't hard, but drilling 12 holes in your roof can be mentally tough.

No big deal. Just remember the quad cabs got holes drilled in them too.
And when you take it off just get new weather stripping and you're a-okay

I hear you about drilling holes. I have a 50” curved light bar I’m installing and I have to drill 6 holes and I still haven’t gotten up the nerve to drill them yet. We’ll see today I might have to install it. Wish me luck. Lol

Please don't drill them without a punch!! It makes life SO much easier. Punch, small pilot hole, and then final size. Works perfectly.

I bought a punch and fresh drill bits when installing my prinsu and didn't run into any issues.

Cool thanks for the tip. I’ll go get some new bits and a punch before starting this project. I’m sure it will make it easier.
