Senco a much better gun. Paslode and Bostich much cheaper nails and easier to get generic nails from a variety of sources. All 3 brands hurt when you shoot yourself. BTDT. Keep loaded guns from morons as I now say.

I’ve got an older Senco that’s awesome, I keep it as backup. I bought a newer Senco and I’m hating the plastic collated nails, it shoots plastic shards in my face. The new Paslode shoots paper collated nails, same type/degree of nail as my older Senco. Tools aren’t as well made as they used to be.

I’m momentarily self unemployed. None of the vendors have delivered on time. The FEMA checks from the hurricane came in at once causing delays, especially with windows.

I remember lightly bump a telephone poll with my truck bumper. Got my first little dent. Then a coworker opened his car door into my truck 2 weeks after new giving it the first scratch. I was not happy with that. Had a pro detailer touch the scratch up. Still can see it, but not as much. Life happens and you keep going. Hoping for better/ new job soon with a pay raise lol.

The day I got my truck I had my wife meet me at a Mexican restaurant to celebrate. I got there early at parked in an end spot for safety purposes. I watch my wife pull up next to my truck, my son’s friend was in the back seat and kicked the door open right into my truck. It put a nice dent right behind my rear wheel. I didn’t say anything, the kids Mom had just been diagnosed with cancer. Just a dent, not cancer.

I feel your pain @ChadsPride when I slid into that tree at Jambo I got this sick sinking feeling and I wanted to crawl into a hole and die. Luckily I had friends around who helped get me off the trail and cheered me up a little. On the good side I met A LOT of people that weekend who saw me report the damage and when they saw it they were like "Holy shit you're Carmen!!"

My lift gate is still cratered and while it bothers me a little I have gotten used to it. I know that you like your truck a certain way and it hurts(and is embarrassing)when you do dumb stuff but you will make it through and get it fixed and move on.

I wouldn't suggest claiming it on homeowners insurance as the deductible will be higher than your car insurance deductible and generally more of a pain in the ass to deal with.

Good luck and chin up. We love you man. <3

No one around here knows how to drive in rain. Glad I didn’t hydroplane today. I was told by discount tire my new tires should be in today.
