Sorry guys if this has already been talked about. I tried to use the search bar but couldn’t find my exact problem. First off let me start by saying my tranny shifts very smooth and seems to be in good working order. Ok so now here it is... when going about 30 mpg and on cruise control, it’s like my entire truck jerks forward to the point where it almost throws you back... I’ve tried every other speed and haven’t noticed any speed but around 30 mpg. And only on cruise. Going around 30 with the accelerator is fine. Only have the problem when the cruise is on. Not a huge problem, but it’s really making me scratch my head

Is it downshifting when you feel the jerk or staying in the same gear?

Does it do it when the shifter is in 3? Or only 4/OD?

    What is a Jerm?

I would venture to guess that you mean jerk.

It is normal when the speed starts to drop off in cruise control.
