It barely kicks. That’s a 3-9 x 40 Leopoldo VX-II. It’s a slapstick gun, meant to throw fast ones in the brush! Link below to the recoil pad I bought. I measured and a medium worked fine. Another good mod you might like to know...Timney makes a 870 trigger kit that’s compatable with the 760’s 7600’s.

The factory ones were sun baked and melting where the day time run lights are. I put a bead of silacone- no fogging. They are a great for the price. I have Volsa bulbs in there.

Good duck hunt with my son today. Two widgeon hens and a green wing teal.

Looks real good with less gloss!

Thanks! I like the ‘semigloss’ look. We had a front come and and knock the 80 degree weather down to mid 40s overnight so it was a nice hunt. I don’t have to drive to work at all now so I’ll barely put miles on it. Yeah my shotgun is a Benelli Nova Pump 12 gauge- shoots 2 3/4” - 3.5” mags just fine.

Love the look of that shotgun! If I knew what I was doing before buying my mossberg I think I would have been with Benelli, or Browning A5 but thats another story lol

Oh well, I’ve done made similar decisions but it at least puts food on the table. If I were to buy another shotgun will be a semiauto. Probably a Benelli Super Black Eagle.

Sliders are ready to ship, but I’m away working. When I get back I’ll get the sliders and 884’s on Bilstein 5100s installed.

Few older duck hunting pictures from November

Texas rigged my decoys with weed wacker line and fishing weights and crimps I had. Got a dozen mallard decoys for $25

I just weeks...front spacers will be replaced with OME 884s and Bilstein 5100s. I have rough plans drafted to build drawers and a platform. I want to have my Yeti 65 in one slide out drawer and a drawer below that that will stow a propane stove. Here’s a drawing if my drawer in drawer idea

Your Yeti seem to be pretty flato_O

Haha looks like a good idea! I tried the platform myself but it didn't last. Was too lazy to build drawers. Drawers would make a huge difference

Sorry my drawing is not movie quality  But yeah, I’m really wanting to build drawers. From time to time I do trim carpentry and build cabinets, I’ll make it solid jointery using dados, rabbits then glue and screw. Pocket holes are over rated and really in my opinion for cabinet face frames.

Thanks man! I looked a long time for a color match and glad that the Bestop changed hands quickly too.

Installed some RGB bedlights. I went to check if a fishing spot's access road was opened, but its still closed.
