I have found it hard to find anything of good quality that I can switch my factory headlights out with. So for all the people with 99 tacos can we get some help finding better looking headlights.

What are you looking for specifically, stock replacements or something with a clear front lens?

All your aftermarket replacements are garbage. Cheap parts that will eventually leak and most of the optics suck at focusing the light. Your best bet is finding someone one here that does a retrofit. That’ll be the best look and quality you can find, and you’ll have great light output.

Do you want form, or function?

Basically, there aren’t many, if any good quality options for first gens, as you have found out.

Here’s a thread that details what is likely the best option we have unless you go for a full high quality retrofit which can cost several hundred to a grand.

swap the clear plastic lens onto oem housing? Might work, I had to do that for my mom's 98 camry. The aftermarket housing wasn't secured onto the car, the adjuster tabs are crap as usual, so I swapped the clear lens over to her oem housing. Worked, just never did it for my dad's 98 tacoma cuz he has no HID or LED system installed. YET.

Aggressive? please give more details, unless you want to use headlight eye lids.
