    Well since you need new bed bars you might as well go with a mid height bed rack and put the yak on that then you have room for the bike on a hitch rack.

    No, they are flat with the top of the bed. I mean real men use bed racks for their shit. Those clear everything. Hell I can even roll the welder into the bed and have enough room between the rack and the tailgate to hold it there. Course if that 125cf bottle ever gets knocked off it someone's fucked. :)
