    How is the sound quality? Also what model Tacoma are you putting these in? I’m thinking about doing this to my SR5, but don’t know if my Head unit will support those speakers.

    I definitely recommend the tweeters - it took me about ~10m per side and the difference was immediately noticeable. Part number if you need it:

    I'd be curious to read your thoughts after installing the door speakers, as I'm not sure how much better those will sound without additional power to drive them.

    I did the same setup as OP, changed the tweeters to the Subaru Kickers, all 4 door speakers to Kickers. HUGE difference. The stock HU matches well with the speakers. Well worth the time and money. Crutchfield was running a kicker promo, buy 1 get 1 free with included harness and speaker adapters a couple months back.

    I have the Entune 7" HU. Is there a difference in power with the HU's? My stock speakers looked the same, pure crap. lol

    I have base SR5. Cheap base level head unit. 10x better sound. Have a little bass boom now and more high frequency. Crutchfield provided speaker adaptors to make them fit, wiring harnesses & instructions to remove door panels. Used dynamat to avoid vibration.

    My rear view mirror vibrates when the bass hits, but it won't shake the Windows on a house. I can feel the bass now.

    I tried to hang one of the 6 3/4 off of the side of my bed, but the magnet was so small it would not stick.
