    I have made some changes to the build plan, mostly working around the fact that I just won a Smittybilt X20 12k from a fast track auction for $265. I figure the time it takes to get @EddyRRT to build me a front bumper to carry it should give me time to sort out if it actually works, and if not, invoke Smittybilt's lifetime warranty to get a new solenoid (which is my current bet on what's wrong with it). Pick up the winch tomorrow.

    Thanks Matt, I'll keep that in mind for sure. I'm also interested to see if your controller works with the 12k version, just as a general knowledge thing. I do like that alot of us have the X20s so @beertimecontinuum will always have a controller to mooch when his is busy sucking a bag of dicks.

    We're picking it up on the way home for turkey day, I'll probably start tinkering with it Sunday-ish when we get back.
