I drove from Windsor to London to test drive 2 taco's. One access cab sr5 and a trd sport that I currently own.

 

I'm with you. Dealers kept trying to get me to sign before a test drive. But wouldn't do it

 

I got mine from Toyota and it was one year old. Tacomas that are used with very little km aren't that easy to come by. At least not when I was searching. When I bought it, the guy said that they don't last long at dealers. He had got 6 in and they were gone within 2weeks.
I figured it was under warranty and if something was bad I would be back.

 

Installed the steel braided brake lines tonight, I got from @taczilla. Dropped all the armor so I can get the undercoating redone, AND get my exhaust re-route done.

Truck actually feels like its progressing instead of going backwards.

Thursday morning the rig goes in for the exhaust re-route. This exhaust guy is the saltiest guy I have ever spoken to, his people skills are nonexistent. He comes highly recommended. He has very reasonable prices though, Quoted $60 for what he said is 'basic shit dont worry'.

 

I drove from Picton, ON to Bridgewater, NS (1721 kms/15 hours/2 coffees/3 whizzes one way) to buy this and test drove it when I got home the next day:

 

well, this week I'm going to be picking up the flatbed hopefully. The welder is pretty much setup now so boxing the frame can happen. Hopefully I will get the BAMF hd shackles soon so I can do those with the frame plating. Going to be busy over the holidays.

Let's see pictures of the work. I paid $350 in 2015 to get mine done at a busy exhaust shop. The work took a good three hours, so I didn't complain.

 

No problem I will take pics. We will see how much it actually costs, the $60 quote I think is way low.
