    ABS sucks.
    Had the truck weighed this morning with 1/2 tank of fuel and me in it.

    Front = 2,360#
    Rear = 1,820#
    Total weight = 4,160#

    Do I want to add 540# to the rear to make it a 50:50 balance for winter driving, or add less and leave the front heavy?

    Leave the front "Heavy " for cornering & braking in winter snow , ice , etc.- I use 3- 80lbs. bags of Redi-Crete concrete mix between the wheel wells over the rear axle -Helps with traction & if I need it, contains gravel for traction under the tires.
