Its not looking promising. But if not, we will as per usual do a new product group buy to offer savings.

 

It takes me a while to make a decision but I put in my order for rock sliders with MobTown this AM. Now the long wait. I have to give them credit on customer service. E-mails get answered in no time at all. But shipping costs on a 100 lbs of steel is brutal

 

We are working on changing the way we package our products so we can ship small parcel more and move away from LTL shipping, which will make shipping charges much more reasonable. However, we have to make sure our products are delivered in the same condition they left the shop, and at the moment LTL is the only way to ensure that. When we first started we had a ton of problems with small parcel losing/damaging products.

Once we are able to package in a way that can withstand the sometimes poor handling from small parcel services we will be able to pass on the savings to our customers.

 

What is the lead time for shipping sliders to South Jersey at this point? I am going with powder coat.

I did send a message asking about who does the shipping in my area. Still waiting on a response which is understandable seeing all the action this sale seems to be getting.

 

Lead times for sliders are currently up to 12 weeks.

We use YRC almost exclusively for LTL shipments, the sliders would ship to their terminal closest to you.
