Converting DRL on 2015 US Tacoma to Meet Canadian Standards on Import

    All,
I'm looking for a guide on what I need to modify so that I can get my 2015 Tacoma that I bought in the US to meet the Canadian Daytime Running Lights (DRL) standards. The Canadian standard is that the headlights or parking lights must always be on when the engine is turned on.

I am looking to do a clean install without splicing wires or installing one of those crappy universal Canadian tire DRL modules. Ideally it would just be installing the correct Toyota relay and wiring harness. Failing that option, would there be an easy and cheap way to make it so that the headlights were always on when the engine is running during the inspection process and then just reverse this mod after the inspection is complete?

Background: Purchased 2015 Tacoma DCSB TRD-Offroad in Arizona and moved back to Canada. Imported the vehicle but now I need to modify the daytime running lights (the amber signals next to the main headlights) so that they are always on when the engine is running to meet Canadian standards.

I know there was a guide written for 05-11 Tacomas but in that thread people had issues with the installing the relays.

Any and all help welcome. Thanks!
