    Hi,
I have two bolts under the bed of my 2017 DC/LB OFF ROAD Tacoma that do not have nuts attached. Just a little forward of the centerline of the spare tire, on both sides of the truck.

It looks like the bed is not fully attached.

Anyone else have the bolts just hanging around, apparently doing nothing?

Maybe the were screwed in from the top, but the do look funny.

    Thanks,

    David

yeah just give it a shot, should be a rounded off rectangular hole between your bumper and tailgate above your plate you put the extension through and affix to that part. that's how I think it is for the 2nd gens.

Why is anyone talking about lowering a spare? He's asking about that one bolt with no nut on the end, which is normal as I just had my whole composite bed replaced and thought the same thing. So I went back and they showed me how the thread from above.

Those are the 6 bolts in your bed that attach it to the frame. The nuts are welded higher up.
