Are you certain that no plugs need to be plugged back together?

You added another cooler... did you push fluid through this cooler when you did the flush?

It didn’t seam to run any hotter or colder. It idled for like 20 mins and had a hard time getting over 100*
Yes I did I did two quarts at a time and put in exactly what came out. Then filled my new tranny cooler and added about a extra quart.

No idea about the sensor stuff lol

Well this is def transmission related. Just backed it out of the garage and in reverse without touching the brake it just rolls forward and keeps rolling toward unless I hit the gas. Idk what happened but I regret doing this. If you have higher miles don’t do a full flush.

The TC is a fluid coupler, if you're running a really low rpm it's not spinning the impeller fast enough to turn the turbine, which is in a nutshell the input power to your trans. Is it still idling like crap? Did you check the fluid level like I told you before?

Havent checked the fluid level. Need to go get another quart first. Still idling crappy. When I first started it the truck was idling pretty good but as soon as I put the tranny in gear the idle dropped super low and was running like crap.

I’m really at a loss for what could have gone wrong here

I wouldn’t say fine but a tad better since the rpm picks up a little. I reset the tps like the video too.

Is the making any whining or otherwise abnormal noises? How much fluid came out when you drained it with it off?

Your transmission is definitely low on fluid, but the low idle has me stumped. What did you short the positive post to? Have you disconnected the negative and left it unhooked a while yet? Did you check for pending codes?

I shorted it to the ground cable when I was wiring my blue sea. It probably is low but it’s gotta be something else causing all this. I’m just gonna take it to a shop.

No trouble codes or pending codes

Yikes !!!! A transmission flush with fluid that dirty is usually a no no gentlemen .
A rule of thumb before flushing is dropping the pan and inspecting the contamination in the bottom of the pan first .
That being said , I think he has possibly developed a cross leak in the valve body from flushing dirty fluid
What does this mean ? two hydraulic circuits are applied at the same time or in simple terms ...A stuck valve in the valve body .

Have seen this many times .... If you had a fill tube , she would literally be smoking

Dont drive the truck ! you will write off the transmission

Got no choice now , you have to drop the pan , filter and valve body .
anthony250f Are you up to the challenge ?

No way haha the fluid was changed less than 100k ago. It was dark but it wasn’t that bad. I do wish I would have done a drain and re fill multiple times now.
I did two quarts at a time when doing it

So would that mean I need a new valve body?

I only drove it around my apartment parking pot

You wont need a new valve body .
If the issue truly is a stuck valve , you drop the valve body , free up the stuck valve and put everything back together .
Its not that hard but not something you do outside in a parking lot .
Do you have a shop to work in ?

Nope I live in a apartment unfortunately. Will it be ok to drive it to a spot where a tow truck can even get to it ? Not far at all. It feels semi normal while driving and does shift ok.

    I have a aamco transmissions semi-close
