Someone decided that a $20 backpack with vegetables in it was worth smashing my window in for while my wife, in-laws, and I were out for dinner. Our insurance deductable is $500, and Safelite is quoting $400. With the holidays so close, I need to find somewhere that's more affordable. Any recommendations? I'm in Salem and Albany, but I'd be willing to travel as far as Portland if necessary. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Not out of the realm of possibilities, but I don't exactly have the time. If I don't have any other options, that's the route I'll have to take.

Apple auto glass in Portland are great to work with and I think they were reasonable. Satellite sucks!!! They are full of sh!t. The are expensive. Their customer service sucks. I called them for a windshield and I will never call them again. I called Apple and it was a great and very pleasant experience. Even took the wife’s care their.

I'm in Salem from Thursday through Monday. If you get a window you need help putting in, I have plastic panel puller tools and a willingness to help.
