I plan on getting these toytec front spacers soon too. Right now I have the stock Baja suspension up front (switching to adjustable 5100's in the spring). Out back I have stock leafs with Wheeler's 3 leaf ad a leaf, Firestone Ride Rite airbags with Daystar cradles and stock length 5100's ( I removed and sold the 5160's). Right now i have about a 1.5" rake with 4-7psi in the bags, it goes up as I add air.

I have a wheelers AAL showing up this week. Do I leave the overload in or not? I’ve seen 100 opinions both ways.

I haul heavy-ish loads more than I off-road and most of my off-roading consists of muddy construction sites.

Add-a-leafs will reduce your cargo carrying capacity when used to replace your overload spring. Most of the sites used to state this in the fine print, and I read it as recently as a year ago when I was researching options like you are now. A quick look today shows that most have pulled or hidden this disclaimer, so you should ask your supplier. If you leave the overload spring in place you will gain a little load capacity, but you'll also go from ~1.5 to ~2.5 inches of lift unloaded. I ended up going with the Wheelers single long add-a-leaf that was advertised at 1.5" and you don't remove the overload. I actually got 2ish inches after about a year from them, so I guess all specs are estimates.

The overload will add a half inch (the thickness of the leaf) to whatever else you do. It doesn't add any lift, it only keeps the leaves from going into a negative arch.

Does anyone want to sell their owners manuals and case from their 2015 TRD Pro? I know it is off topic, but I figured this was the best place to ping Pro owners.

    Thanks

Keeping the overload spring with the AAL will also make for a stiffer / bouncier rear end when unloaded, right?

I added the wheelers AAL and it sorted out the saggy arse that I was starting to see as I was using my truck for lots of weight and distance at the time.
I really don't recall feeling as though it added any harshness to the ride and I have had the AAL in for over three years.
I found it helped with the ride when I had the back loaded up with either stone or sod.
Just my experience and I went with the AAL because I couldn't afford air bags and figured for the price of the AAL it was worth a shot and have been really happy with it.
The thing when you install them, is get the arse of the truck high, so you can drop the axle down, yeah, I thought I had the truck high enough and I didn't which caused a lot of pain a suffering to work around that simple thing...

Haven't posted here in a while! Switched up my suspension and installed a Fabtech 3" System with a Dirt Logic Resi Shocks front and rear. Also put a progressive add-a-leaf in the rear and custom rear Resi mounts. The truck drives way better and feels completely different on trails.

Put the Wheelers AAL in on saturday with new 5100 shocks. Defidently get the ass of thr truck ad high as you can so you csn droo the axle as lownas the brakes lines will allow.

I left the overload spring in and added about 2-3/4” in height.

It rides better than it did before but thst was also with blown out factory shocks. I knew they were leaking but didnt know they were totally dead. Holly shit what a difference. Its stiffer than stock but not bouncy...it doesnt feel anythjng like an empty 1 ton truck.

I wanted to say thanks to JuanitoBunito for encouraging me to lift my 2015 TRD PRO. I installed the ToyTec 1/2" Front Top Plate Spacer Kit in the front and the ToyTec Progressive 3 Leaf Add A Leaf Pack in the rear with the overload removed. I love the look and it seems to ride pretty much the same.

The only little issue is that now I feel a very minor shutter or vibration from the rear upon slow take-off from a stop. I don't feel it if I floor it from a stop, before lift.jpg after lift.jpg just from a slow take-off from a stop. Anyone else have this issue? I ordered the ToyTec carrier bearing drop kit and the solid steel axle degree shims. I'll have these installed once I receive them and hopefully that will help or eliminate the shutter/vibration.

Here's the before and after lift photos.....

That’s great man, I knew you’d like it!! I have had zero issues with my rear leaf aal. In fact if I’m not wrong, I believe your the first with this issue...not with a little vibration, but having it with the progressive aal specifically. If I have it....I don’t notice it I guess.

Looks great, I have the add a leaf on mine, funny I had a very similar shudder at takeoff before the add a leaf but its gone now, mine would be worse if I took off fast but wasn't an issue if I took off slow. Mine's a 6 speed, is yours manual or auto?

I had a drive line vibe at 15-28 mph before my aal. Now it is muted and at take off. Trying the carrier drop as well.

I have the Icon Progessive 3 Leaf Add-A-Leaf pack with the Overload left in and mine rides & sits great. Am thinking about adding the the front spacer after seeing the picture of yours. How difficult was it to install the front spacer?

I’m looking at fixing/leveling my sagging rear; running with Undercover bed cover w/ Yakima rack. Also plan on adding a Pelfreybuilt standard rear bumper soon (85lbs).

So my question, which full leaf spring pack would be the best choice for upgrade? There so many choices, Ikon, Wheelers, Toytec, etc. I’m not doing much off road, but do haul loads periodically.
