Just adjust the arm by loosening the retaining nut, pulling the arm off and re-installing it in a different position?

May not be that simple. If it's making a full wipe all the way to the bottom of the window. Moving it would make it wipe beyond the bottom of the glass. Need more info from the OP.

Yes...it wipes across the windshield perfect..but in intermittent and when it turn it off it parks 1/2 way up the windshield.when I took the wiper arms off and cycle the switch and watch the pivots..the pivots go up ...(clockwise )...down.(.counter clockwise) then they come back up..clockwise..adjusting the arms so that it works with out hiting the cowl panel results in the arms wipers parking 1/2 way across the windshield. This all started after I replaced the linkage.it only bolts up one way...i checked it thoughtt maybe I screwed it up . Then I bought a complete set up (used )... put the motor /linkage in still same thing...what am I missing?

Usually you keep the wiper arms off ...cycle the switch on and off ..let it park ...then put your arms /blades lined up at the base of your windshield....

I can' do this. because when I turn the switch on the blades go up a ittle and then way down into the cowl then back up 1/2 way up t he windshield when it parks...i don' know I missed something here...its probably simple...and stupid.....but i cannot figure this out

Possible the linkage arm is flip over on the motor?
