After replacing trans fluid with MT90 seems as if it a little harder to get in gear for some reason. Gonna replace shifter bushing also. Is there a better aftermarket option for bushing? Where can I get it online for 99 2.4 2wd.
    Thanks

No problem, looks like they upped the price a little...I swear they used to be under $10. A lot of people have been talking about getting them lately so maybe they decided to make a little extra lol. Still a cheap fix though for 12 bucks.

Still worth the money in my book, I am not easy on my transmission. I like to bang shift and clutch-less and this bushing makes it effortless to find the next gear.

Yeah I still need to do it myself, mine's not so bad that it's super difficult to find the gear but occasionally I have to give it some force. Once or twice a week I'll have to double clutch it after missing the gear the first time if it's really bad. Been putting off getting this new bushing, not sure why...I convince myself to buy way more expensive parts more easily lol.

Just the one unless you have a 4WD and then you can get a transfer case bushing too. YOu just need the one white bushing from Marlin Crawler for yours.

Is there any guide on TW for replacing the shifter seat? I'd like to do this myself, but I don't know where to start!

Did you fill it until it started to drip out of the fill hole? Or did you fill it with the recommended amount?

The reason I ask is because this happened too me. I filled it with the recommended amount (can't remember what it was) I found when researching. Shifting was hard. Then, I filled it until it started to drip out. Better, but not as smooth as I hoped. After doing some reading, I read somewhere where several people said to add just a little more from the top (shifter). Now...knowing not to add too much, I wasn't sure what "a little more" was. So I just did maybe the amount of a couple of shots. Shifting was a lot better. I was worried about having that extra amount in, but I haven't had any tranny issues.

Do I recommend putting that little extra in? All I can say is is that it worked for me, but that will be up to you if you want to do that or not. I would hate for shit to happen to another person's truck because of something I said or recommended.

I also should add that during this time, probably within a month, I had replaced the clutch master & slave cylinders, and the shifter seat and bushing.

Just wanted to update. I removed shifter and bushing was destroyed. Replaced it and added a capful of more fluid to trans since I had it open. Also flushed system. Couldn't be happier with outcome. Night and day difference. Now onto the next fix. Thanks everyone who chimed in. Much appreciated.
